I've really enjoyed being able to start everything from scratch and the hard work has been worthwhile. I hope you enjoy seeing my progress too! Feel free to leave comments it's always nice to get feedback.

Who'll stop the Rain?

This just seemed relevant at the moment....we seem to take water for granted but maybe we should think about how precious it is and what we do with it. Take a peek at Water Treaty and Water Aid UK.

Hi Ziggy

All so true - we tend to forget just how lucky we are to live in this 'green and pleasant land'.

Although i admit that i've had enough for now.

Hi Stu, for once, we've not had it so bad up here...it's a shame we can't control where the rain falls so that we could share it out fairly. It's only whilst travelling to countries who don't have the same amount of rainfall as us, that you realise just how precious water is as a commodity and every drop there could mean the difference between success or failure. Although this year in the UK at least it's been water overload although some of our European cousins have had the opposite.

A very sobering video, Ziggywigs. If we can ship and pipe gas, why not water! In this day and age no one should be without clean water.

As you say Chris, very sobering...i know that they have talked for years of a north south water pipe in between Scotland and England...i just hope it has a reverse facility for this year....but as you say wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to share it all out equally.

Thanks for this video. I've included it on my blog tonight. We all need to be reminded that everything is connected and our lives depend on clean water.
